Cybersecurity Academy

SERICS Cybersecurity Academy is the training programme of Fondazione SERICS and was designed to enhance Italian and European expertise in the fields of cybersecurity, digital sovereignty and data protection; its remit is to develop, organise and deliver training programmes for students, teachers, trainers, employees and others, through conferences, seminars, training platforms and bespoke cyber games. This high-quality training programme is delivered by lecturers from the academic world and industry experts.

Training programme

The Academy comprises a range of activities to develop technical skills and incorporate learning objectives. These activities can be summarised in five training paths, each broken down in specific modules.

All courses will take place in 2025, and participation is free of charge, as they are fully funded by the PNRR (Italian Plan of Recovery and Resilience).

Specialized training for employees and professionals

Blended courses for qualified professionals, designed to meet market needs and enhance the country’s competitiveness.

Promotion and support activities for specialized doctoral schools

The training pathway provides specialized and supplementary education within the beneficiary PhD research programs.

Promotion and support activities for university master’s programs

University master’s programs with teaching modules and seminars on topics within the scope of the SERICS Foundation’s mandate.

Entrepreneurship courses for graduating students, recent graduates, PhD candidates, and recent PhD graduates

The course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurial process.

Train the Trainers

The courses aim to train professional profiles with the key skills and knowledge of a Cybersecurity Educator.

SERICS Academy has developed an e-learning CMS (Content Management System) platform designed to facilitate access to the educational content provided across all areas of the training programme. 

The platform, in particular, will allow to:
