From 9 to 13 February 2026, Cagliari will become Italy’s digital security capital. The city will host the 10th edition of ITASEC, Italy’s leading conference on cybersecurity, which for the second-year running is being organised in collaboration with the SERICS extended partnership.

The event is once again proving to be an unmissable opportunity for dialogue between the academic world, institutions and industry to discuss the challenges, achievements and prospects of digital security, thereby strengthening the synergy between the research ecosystem and the extended SERICS partnership.

The programme will run over five days, with the Sardinian capital turning into a national hub for discussion on innovation and digital security strategies. Workshops, tutorials, keynote speeches and themed panels will provide a comprehensive overview of the main developments in the sector, fostering dialogue between universities, research centres, institutions and businesses.

SERICS will feature in a number of events, actively contributing to the debate on the future direction of cybersecurity.
