Research@work is now underway: this is the first operational initiative of the SERICS Placement Programme, designed to support the employability of researchers recruited for the project as the PNRR draws to a close.
The webinar agenda
The online event will take place from 3 to 6 March, broadcast live nationwide, as part of a programme consisting of four webinars:
3 March (10:00 to 11:30 am): Career and Soft Skill
4 March (10:00 to 11:30 am): Employment and social networks
5 March (10:00 to 11:30 am): CV and selection process
6 March (10:00 to 12:00 am): The ABCs of Entrepreneurship
Objectives and future development
Organised by the SERICS Foundation, this initiative represents a key career guidance event for researchers, aimed at enhancing participants’ professional development, increasing their understanding of the world of work, and fostering links with companies that invest in R&D. The event will focus on key topics relating to soft skills, personal branding and engaging with employers.
Research@work is part of the larger-scale SERICS Placement Program, the career guidance and self-employment programme run by the Fondazione SERICS for its recruits. Following the event, the programme includes webinars with companies that operate and invest in R&D in Italy and have vacancies for highly specialised roles, as well as a one-to-one consultation service available in the coming months.
All the PNRR Placement Program activities are designed and developed by Fondazione Emblema, which has produced seven similar programmes aimed at highly specialised roles within the organisations funded under the PNRR.
